Still keeping track of Obama’s twists, turns, dodges and waffles, patiently waiting for the next shot into the foot. Featured today: Obama taking credit for someone else’s welfare reform plan.
According to Dick Morris, whose focus is improving, Obama’s newest ad campaign has him taking credit for welfare reform which he opposed. See also the news reports from ABC News, Cleveland Plain Dealer, and Fox News.
This post is a followup (and certainly, there will be more) on Memo To Dick Morris, et al.: Shut Up!, which postulated that the best thing for McCain right now is to let Obama talk.
Why do I say that letting Obama talk is the worst thing for Obama? Because he’s trying to come across as a “moderate” or a “centrist” but he has a big, fat, double-left-wing albatross hanging around his neck. This makes him look like a pandering opportunist, i.e., like himself.

The only time that I will listen to Obama is when he is willing to show the phone records. As far as talking, yes! It’s nice to know that he is still doing that because all he does is walk around with his own “noose” and I get to hear about it on the news.
However, it’s revolting to watch him when you actually know who he really is.

Frankly, my dear, I do not give a darn what he says… I have been able to see through his idiocy and phony-nous, from day one… He said he was a blank page, for the people to draw him as they would… Well I, for one, have drawn the Obama that I see; And, it is NOT a pretty picture…
So he can say what he wants, pick the VP that he wants.. Anyone, short of Jesus Christ, would not help him… And, would only miserably affect his/her own political ambitions.
Yes, he is showing us the real Barack Obama. Not ‘just another Politician’.. No.. much WORSE than that ! !

Has he taken on all McCain’s policies yet?

30-Y: No, not yet. I’m just waiting for the day he promises to appoint conservative judges to the Supreme Court (but not, I repeat, not holding my breath)

Glibama taking credit for someone else’s acts? frankly, I’m shocked, shocked!
You ain’t seen nothin’ yet, my friend! Wait for the “Ich bin ein Berliner!” speech & mugging in Berlin this end of July – if that won’t do it for the Oppossum crowd, I don’t know…

No matter–President Obama–McCain has the same dementia as our current President–what? Did I say that? Get real white boys your time is over for the hate, we are world not the me, me, me and more for me!!!!

ah yes.. taking credit for someone else’s work.
Just like George W and Johnny McCain touting the new GI Bill that they so adamantly opposed.
And when taking sides of an issue…nobody flip flops like McCain….on EVERYTHING. gay marriage..abortion..the Wars..energy policy..and on and on.

Really? And what is it about a Republican’s policies that a so called Democrat would agree with? The unapologetic continuation of the policies of one of the dumbest politicians/people ever: George W Bush?
Obama moving to the center makes sense. Democrats moving solid right because their favorite candidate was fairly defeated and they got feelings hurt? No wonder conservatives think we are weak and demos lose elections. You are doing exactly what the republicans want. Giving them the presidency. Again.

“And what is it about a Republican’s policies that a so called Democrat would agree with?”
Nice talk, coming from someone who posts pictures of Che Guevara and Barack Obama together on his Website. I agree with Republicans and Democrats alike that we should oppose Communism and terrorism (I remember Che Guevara, sonny; he was a terrorist first, a Commie second because it gave him a base of support for his terrorist activities).
“You are doing exactly what the republicans want. Giving them the presidency.”
Thank you.
